Take notes and start keeping a record

It can help to start a notebook to keep track of what you notice and how your child is changing from month to month.

Include your notes, pictures, doctor's visits, etc.

Why should I take notes? Image of a binder

  • Helps you to articulate what you notice
  • Lets you compare their progress with typical Milestones
  • Can help you explain your child's challenges to doctors or teachers
  • Keeps track of appointments and meetings
