To make it easier for families, MassHealth is now trying to renew coverage without asking you to reapply every year.
If you do need to renew, MassHealth will mail you a renewal letter. You must act quickly to renew your plan so there won't be a gap in your coverage.
Here's what you can do:

Read about the renewal process on the MassHealth Renewal Page ahead of time so you know what to expect.

Be on the lookout for a renewal letter from MassHealth in the mail. Click the link at the bottom of the page to take a look at a sample MassHealth Renewal Letter.

When you get this letter, follow the instructions. MassHealth may just ask you to look over the information and make sure nothing has changed. Other times they may ask you to renew your coverage by filling out a new application.
