Getting ready to take action

Helping your child through challenges is not easy.  But there are things you can do, and we'll help.

 

Before we start, we encourage you to be patient, persistent, and hopeful.

 

Here's what we will do: 1, Show you how to track your child's development, 2, Tell you how to get screenings, tests, to see if they have a problem, 3, Describe common conditions that children may have, and what kind of help you can get for them, and 4, tell you how you can connect with 3 important systems: medical, educational and government benefits.

 

If you have any concerns about your child, get them checked as soon as possible! If they're having any trouble with development, the earlier they get help, the more likely they are to make progress.
