Transportation is a difficult challenge for people with disabilities.
Once you get a job, you have to find a way to get there.
Here's what you can do:
-
Ask your vocational program, support organization, or employer for ideas.
-
If you have a DDS or MRC coordinator, ask about transportation benefits.
-
If you have health insurance — including MassHealth— ask them if there are any transportation supports. Call the number on the back of your insurance card.
