Connect with local support programs

It will be helpful to connect with organizations that can give you advice and moral support.

There are so many organizations in Louisiana that are doing excellent work to support people with disabilities!

But start with your local Families Helping Families program:

  • They can answer a lot of the questions you might have.

  • Tell them what kind of help you need, and they'll tell you who else you should call.

 

Families Helping Families can provide the following services. 1. Parent support groups and trainings. 2. Help with education and other services. 3. free help and advice for many kinds of needs.
