Unfortunately, we can't find you a place to live.

But here's what we can do:

  • Help you find apartment listings

  • Link you to a few specific resources

  • Connect you with organizations that can give you more personal support

LA Housing Search:

  • Listings of apartment rentals in Louisiana

  • Enter your city, county, or zip code to find listings in your area.

Public Housing:

  • Housing offered through your local Public Housing Authority (PHA). Some places are reserved for people with disabilities.

  • Call the Information Resource Center at (800) 955-2232 or click here for Public Housing Authority listings by city or zip code.

  • Ask about Priority Status! They may have saved some housing slots for people with developmental disabilities. Ask them about this!

Section 8 Housing Vouchers:

  • A program run by the local Public Housing Authority (PHA)

  • Helps very low-income families, the elderly, and people with disabilities afford decent, safe housing

  • You find your own place, but they pay most of your rent.
