Families Helping Families is a good place to start. They have a network of centers across the state.
- Most program staff members are parents of kids or adults with disabilities.
- They can give you information and support, and all of their services are free.
Here's what you can do:
-
Ask the staff at Families Helping Families to help you find other resources to give you the support you need. This is what they do!
-
Ask them to connect you with other parents who have gone through this before.
-
Ask for help with the Medicaid Waiver process!
