If you get benefits, there are some programs to help you find and keep a job.
Ticket to Work Program:
-
You get a voucher, which is like a ticket that lets you get different kinds of support for finding jobs.
-
You can take your voucher to an employment network to find services to help you. (Employment networks are Ticket to Work's own vocational programs.)
Here's what you can do:
-
Go to the Ticket to Work website to learn more. (It will open in a new tab on your screen)
-
Call the SSA Ticket Program Operations Support Manager, MAXIMUS: 866-YOURTICKET(866-968-7842) or for TTY/TDD call 866-833-2967.
-
Ask about this at MRC or one of the vocational programs.
Learn more about other kinds of employment support from Social Security:
-
The Red Book - A Guide to Work Incentives (It will open in a new tab on your screen. It's also in Spanish.)
Go to our SSI Benefits Guide to learn how to apply.
